My serious foray into photography and writing began with my M.Arch thesis in which I looked beyond the traditional  image of a ruin to explore the creation of narrative and experiential spaces drawn from the palimpsest of memories inherent in the decay of the built over time -- Okay, I know that is a mouthful, but that is where it all began.

I look to nature as the medium through which I create my abstract photos. They are but a small glimpse into a world we rarely pause to look at.

I have published and edited a print cycling magazine, written for architecture and design firms, and provided copy, blogs, and reviews for the outdoor industry.

Currently I am Adjunct Faculty at Palomar College teaching Architectural History and Materials, Methods, Construction, Architectural Theory. I am also a PADI IDC Staff SCUBA Instructor.
